Purim Checklist

Standard

If you’re coming to Purim tomorrow, be sure to bring:

  1. Food.
  2. Costumes (for use in Esther play). Crowns, rings, and scepters are props needed if you have anything like that. Otherwise we’ll figure out something.
  3. At least one Bible.
  4. Your basket/box filled with snacks to trade with another family.
  5. Table cloths and anything else that might be good for props or decoration.
  6. If you happen to have a CD with Jewish music, that would be great to have.

In case you’re wondering how the food situation is going, here’s the run down.

Beef Brisket:

Supples and Ursus.

Challah

Clarkes and Harpers

Salad:

Dixons and Manns

Hamantaschen:

Ursus, Fingersons, and Burgess.

And here’s the general idea of the schedule (subject to change):

4:00-4:15–Arrive, bring food in, talk, etc.

4:15-5:00– Activities, fellowship

5:00-6:00–Eat and clean up

6:00-7:00–Practice and perform skit

7:00-8:00–Dessert, baskets, fellowship, Jewish dancing (optional).

And I think that’s it! See you all tomorrow!! 😀
